La Milpa Organica farm is now home to over 30 rescued bee colonies Bees as you probably know are an essential and integral part of many plant life cycles acting as flower pollinators

Recently Bee colonies have been disappearing. This troubling mystery is called colony collapse disorder (CCD)

A team of experienced bee keepers and friends of the farm have been involved with a bee rescue effort to save these critically important pollinators by capturing swarms in the community and bringing them to the sanctuary of the farm

Please support our bee rescue efforts by purchasing some
raw unfiltered local honey from rescued bees

Cost $4 jar
Honey can be picked up at the farm
or we'll deliver it to one of our farmer's markets
